Also known as African Rosewood, bubinga – with its figured grain, rich color, and wide frequency response – is both attractive and a great tone wood. Now adorned with Peace's coveted deus tube lugs, the new Kahuna is even more regal. It is important to note that shells are 9-ply, 100% bubinga. Bubinga's extreme hardness makes it difficult to form into shells, and many of the other so-called bubinga kits on the on the market only have an outer veneer.
